Could not find a simple tire leak

I went to Les Schwab Tire for a free tire check. Two employees with tools and flashlights looked for a leak and told me they were in good condition.

Even though the service was free, they did a sloppy job because when I got home, the suspected tire went flat.

I fixed it myself with a kit I bought at Walmart and inflated it with a tire pump.

There was a large nail in it which you could see since it was very shiny. I am partially disabled and have a hard time holding tools, but I would rather do it myself just to get it done right.

2. Written by poor thing!, on 06-10-2008 19:44 That is very unfortunate! It should do you well to know that you should ask for a "FLAT REPAIR" service instead of a tire inspection. I have always had great repair service at les schwabs! Report

When ever i think i have i flat, just ask them to check and dunk it, they always do it for my no questions asked, i have never had a tire go flat again after bringin it to them to fix Report
