Les Schwab Tire Centers - Scare tactics are the norm.
Went in to get a front end alignment after getting new tires elsewhere a week prior. The guy that looked at my car, said he couldn't do an alignment because the front end needed a lot of work.
I had my two young boys with me and still remember the lecture he gave me to this day. After I said I couldn't afford the work at that time, he told me I SHOULD NOT be driving the car with my young kids in it. He told me that the front end ball joints and tie rod ends were so loose that they could fall apart at any time. I was shaken, but drove slow and carefully all the way home.
I have always done my own repair and maintenance on my cars. As soon as I got home, I jacked the car up, put in jack stands and crawled under the car to see what work was in front of me. I was Shocked to find NOTHING was wrong. The ball joints were tight, the tie rod ends were tight.
No abnormal movement in the front end what so ever!!
I've steered every family member and friend clear since.

Les Schwab sucks and are liars!! Watch mileage notes, they donโt honor what they advertise.
Put tires on just before COVID lockdown. Didnโt drive much for year cause working from home. Went in just today for low tire alarm on car, they say I need new tires ??
What, no way. Like to rip off women!!
