New ReviewerI had a slow leak in a trailer tire. First time in for this particular leak they charged me $14 and I was on my way.
Problem solved...or so I thought. A week later I'm adding air to it every couple of days. Next time I'm out pulling my trailer after adding more air I stop by again. This time problem fixed, no charge...or was it fixed?
Third time in they show me a bubble coming from the rim where it meets the rubber. "You need a new rim, only have one right now so bring it in again and we better put 2 on or you'll have the same problem on the other side, they tell me. OK, $243 later plus the original $14 I get 2 new rims put on it's still leaking!!! Your tire is no good they tell me.
Another $100 later after waiting 45 minutes for a 15 minute repair (they told me) I'm ready to pay again for their incompetence. The guy, Ryan argues with me telling me both rim and tire were defective and I wonder, really? You had 3 chances to figure that out and you couldn't get it right the first time? Or the second time?
Or the third time? Best way to solve the problem is sell the guy everything and BS him into believing it. Maybe both rim and tire were defective but why does it take them 4 tries to get it right!? I get it, job security for Ryan and Les Schwab tire company.
I've always gone to Les Schwab for more than 40 years!!!
Now I may have to go to their competitor. Not happy with company or attitude!
