Nampa, ID Les Schwab......So I bought a used car last year; a 2006 Mazda 3 concept car. I have been a loyal customer of Les Schwab's for 20 years, I used Big O 1 time and ran right back to Les Schwab. My car had some major issues 2 flat tires, brakes going out and the shocks and struts are pretty much toast, now all this went out at once.

So I call Les Schwab I am a full time pre law student, I live on 400.00 in child support and what is left over from my financial aid which is 3k ever 3 months so that is 1.4K a month. I hate payments so I don't make them I just pay for whatever I need cash up front and in whole. So I don't have credit issues really one way or another. I know I am looking at a pretty hefty chunky with all that needs to be done, I am going to have to do some type of payment and then pay the whole thing off when I get my student loans in May and Aug.

I call in I talk to a gentleman who tells me come in and fill out a credit app, I am like Great will do I ask him what their cheapest tire is and he tells me 199.00 the next is 238.00 and on up. I am like okay so regardless I know finance, so I go in. Fill out the app and the lady tells me you are going to need a co -signer. I am like okay, I figured as much because this is not going to be cheap.

I get a co signer I had 2 that would co-sign for me, one is my ex, yes I pay my bills. They come back and tell me that they will only finance 500.00. WHAT?????????????? Are you *** kidding me 500.00 does not even cover new tires??????????????????

They asked me for a co signer for 500.00?????????Wow for real!!!! I am so disappointed and disgusted Les Schwab financed over 2000.00 on my Probe 15 years ago and I didn't need a co signer. So yeah GREED GREEED GREED!!!! So Beware people if you are going there have cash up front or prepare to get jerked off.....

Les Schwab !has lost me as a customer permanently, I will go to Big O.

I had already gone to them prior to that and they finance through citi chase and they will finance over 2K no co -signer, and that is no in house finance like Les Schwabs.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

I truly hope you are not a pre-law student. Your grammar and spelling are at a 3rd grade level.

Im from bonners ferry,id and the les schwab here is screwy . They replaced all of our tires and with in the 4 months the tires are falling apart the tires were not cheap one all together they cost us around 900 .

So we went back in they then told us that we have no back brakes wait what no back breaks we had all four changed last year in oregon .

I guess not so not only did they tell us they changed all of our breaks at one les schwab now at a different one they will not make it right with the *** tires we got from them .. Les schwab screws people over all the time ..

Petty!!!!!!! It sounds like you better work on your credit score and it might improve your attitude.

This review is a total fabrication. Too many things do not add up.

More than likely this review was written by a former employee.

It sounds like your credit is atrocious enough that Les Schwab didn't want to assume the risk of loaning you anymore than $500. That isn't a reflection on their company whatsoever.

Clearly the cosigner didn't have stellar credit either.

Take responsibility for your own credit history and pay your bills!

First off. If they are telling you one tire is 199 and another

is 238 what kind of tires are you buying?

Your car is six years old and needs shocks and struts already? I can see brakes needing replaced but that is so simple your ex could do that himself. I get that your a woman, some places take advantage of women. However I am thinking there was an underlying issue here.

1 you do t go in looking like you have money unless you want to get screwed over. 2 is there possibility you were rude to any of the customers or any employees, yes that ticks people off. 3 next time take a man with you that looks as though he knows about cars. They won't try to sell you what you don't need.

Bottom line. Les Schwab employees are trying to make quotas too. They don't care who it's from. You look like you can be taken over, they have to try.

But you should have known better. 6 year old cars don't fall apart that fast. 50k miles for brakes and about 35k on tires . Shocks and struts?

Oh come on. 10-15 years if not more.

Good luck on your future vehicles.

I TRAVELED BY FERRY TO BE AT MY APPOINTMENT AT 8AM. ONLY TO WAIT 3.5 HRS TO ONLY BE TOLD THEY STILL NEED ME TO WAIT LONGER TO GET IN.

NOT ONCE DID THEY COME TELL ME ANYTHING, I HAD TO KEEP ASKING. IT COST ME NOT ONLY FERRY COST RT, BUT HOTEL AS WELL.

EVERYONE WAS RUDE, NOT ONE HELPFUL PERSON THERE, NOT EVEN A APOLOGY ..... UN REAL!!!!!!

Why

You an employee?

Guest

You, like, should get like out of the habit of like using the word like, like all the time. It's like pretty annoying and like not a good thing for like aspiring attorneys.

Guest

You, sir, are an ignoramus.

Typically credit applications are based on your Credit Worthiness. If you are broke, then that's YOUR fault! You are not very smart for being a law student.
